ARCHS FY 2020 Annual Impact Report

Dear Greater St. Louis,

On behalf of Area Resources for Community and Human Services’ (ARCHS) Board of Directors, staff, funders, and partners, we present our FY 2020 report (July 1, 2019-June 30, 2020.)

ARCHS provides expertise, resources, and funding through more than 30 initiatives. These efforts have served nearly 150,000 St. Louisans in resource-deprived communities with the long-term goal of disrupting cycles of generational poverty and trauma.

We share the FY 2020 report with great pride as COVID-19 had an impact on our typical day-to-day work. On March 17th, ARCHS’ staff started working remotely, conducting virtual partner check-ins, distributing intensive communication, and offering learning opportunities through Zoom. These efforts served St. Louis’ most vulnerable populations with needed resources and services to simply stay healthy.

ARCHS monitors the impact of its funded and strategically supported programs using the respected and vetted indicators of Kids Count®, No Kid Hungry®, Missouri Family and Community Trust (FACT), Ready by 21® St. Louis, and Forward Through Ferguson.

While we are pleased to pause and reflect on FY 2020, COVID-19 is not going away any time soon. ARCHS' team continues to secure funding and resources so partners can provide services to ensure child safety, educational opportunities, access to healthcare, and a thriving workforce in St. Louis. Each day, we work alongside our growing network of funders and grantee partners to put “continuous quality improvement” into action on the ground at 232 program site locations where positive impact is needed most.

We are proud to highlight the combined achievements of our community partners that have collectively ensured that our joint programming is currently valued at $30.18 million- with each dollar strengthening St. Louis families.

Thank you for supporting the power of partnering. We are always ready to evolve with the current state of the world to better serve the region.
