In June 2024 ARCHS issued $318,749 to provide enrichment activities for more than 940 youth at 13 St. Louis area summer programs managed by 7 area youth development organizations including:
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis, Communities First, Gene Slay’s Girls & Boys Club, Mentors in Motion, The Sophia Project, SPROG/Horizons, Stray Dog Theatre, and Jennings School District
Additionally, ARCHS partnered with Community Allies, Enteam, Future in Action, and HealthWorks! Kids’ Museum St. Louis, Imagine Art Academy, Mad Science of St. Louis, and The Greenhouse Forensic Institute to further enhance summer programming.
The programs focus on academic support/enrichment, STEAM learning, social and life skills, health, and recreation. Each day a nutritious meal/snack is provided. ARCHS funding was provided by the Missouri Department of Social Services.
