HISTORY

Founded in 1998, Area Resources for Community and Human Services (ARCHS) is recognized as one of the region’s largest and most impactful funding / philanthropic organizations.

ARCHS is one of 20 Community Partnership organizations serving the state of Missouri. The state-wide partnership concept was built upon the innovative St. Louis Caring Communities program model that was introduced in 1989 and later expanded across the state. Today, these partnerships are coordinated through Missouri’s Family and Community Trust (FACT). As part of FACT, ARCHS is also a member of the Missouri Partnership Network.

ARCHS has a successful record of leveraging more than $850+ million in public and private resources and collaborating with community leaders and organizations to benefit the region.

ARCHS’ numerous community accolades include six What’s Right with The Region honors and its progress in utilizing the Baldrige Performance Excellence business framework.
