Kiari, an inspiring alumnus of ARCHS’ funded ABCToday Fatherhood Prevention program through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri, has demonstrated exceptional personal growth and leadership since being matched with his Big Brother, Randy, in 2017. Randy took great pleasure in introducing Kiari to a variety of new and diverse experiences, helping to expand his horizons in impactful ways. Kiari’s remarkable ability to eagerly embrace and adapt to these new experiences quickly captivated everyone around him.
Since transitioning to the Alumni team in 2023, Kiari has continued to impress with his growth and proactive personal and professional development approach. His leadership journey took a major leap forward in April 2024 when he moderated a thought-provoking Mental Health Panel, showcasing his ability to engage and lead meaningful conversations on important topics. In June 2024, Kiari further solidified his leadership skills by leading a dynamic youth panel at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America National Conference, an experience that was both impactful and empowering.
Kiari’s outstanding contributions did not go unnoticed, earning him a prestigious invitation to join the National Youth Council—a testament to his dedication and the profound impact he continues to have on the Big Brothers Big Sisters community.
In addition to his achievements within the organization, Kiari has made significant strides in his educational and professional journey. After initially studying journalism, he decided to pursue a career in public speaking at Harris-Stowe University, reflecting his unwavering determination to adapt and grow. Beyond academics, Kiari balances a part-time job and manages the success of his influential podcast, where he shares his voice and passions with a broader audience. Kiari’s multifaceted commitment to personal development, leadership, and community engagement stands as a powerful example of the positive impact that mentorship can have.
