In October, ARCHS benefited from a donation to support its Neighborhood Healing Network (NHN) initiative. OCL Architectural Lighting generously provided items to assist individuals affected by domestic violence. OCL assembled 200 personal care packages that contained items such as combs, soaps, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, lotion, and hand sanitizer.
These efforts highlight the importance of comprehensive support for survivors, but legal guidance remains a crucial piece of the recovery process. A domestic abuse lawyer specializing in family matters can help survivors navigate protective orders, custody questions, and other legal challenges that arise during and after abusive situations. Understanding options for safety and long-term stability is vital, especially when it comes to Getting out of abuse relationships and ensuring that legal protections are in place. With experienced counsel, survivors can make informed decisions, safeguard their rights, and take the necessary steps toward rebuilding their lives with confidence and security.
Additionally, handwritten notes from OCL staff were included in every package, offering words of encouragement. The packages were distributed to clients served via ARCHS’ NHN partners – Better Family Life, Boys & Girls Club of St. Louis, Fathers & Families Support Center, Mission St. Louis, and the Urban League of St. Louis.
The recipients of OCL’s personal care packages expressed deep gratitude for the thoughtful gesture, and the special notes that provided emotional support, helping to uplift and reassure.
