ARCHS Awards $7.5 Million to Support Food Insecurity, Housing, and Workforce Development Initiatives

In FY 2024, ARCHS has issued $7.5 million in state of Missouri funding to support food insecurity, housing, and workforce development initiatives across the region. ARCHS provided grants to the following organizations:

-Better Family Life

-Bridging Families to Communities & Beyond

-Employment Connection

-Fathers & Families Support Center

-Habitat for Humanity

-Housing Options Provided for the Elderly

-Living with Purpose

-MOKAN

-Mission: St. Louis

-Ole Tyme Produce

-South Side Early Childhood Center

-St. Louis Agency on Training & Development

-Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis

ARCHS secured its funding from the Missouri Department of Social Services. ARCHS’ funded partners will provide additional leveraged/in-kind support to further advance the ARCHS’ funded programs.

Services available through ARCHS’ funded programs include distribution of free food/produce, new home construction/repair, senior housing support, case management, soft skills and job readiness training, life counseling and employment skills training, cultural enrichment, pre-apprenticeships, certifications in high demand industries, transportation, uniforms, childcare, utility assistance, assistance for court referred non-custodial parents, and additional wrap-around support services.
