This month, we recognize Tauran, a dedicated participant in ARCHS’ funded program, Save Our Sons (SOS), provided by Urban League. Tauran enrolled in the pre-apprenticeship training program, which prepares clients for careers in the energy sector. Tauran had recently been offered a position with Spire Gas—his dream employer.
Inspired by the training program’s mission to create a pipeline to energy careers, Tauran joined SOS after learning about the program from his uncle. His commitment was unwavering: he rarely missed a class and spent additional time studying to earn his Energy Fundamentals 2.0 credential, a certification recognized by employers across the region.
Tauran’s uncle, who introduced him to the program, may be the proudest of us all. Now, Tauran is focused on building long-term wealth and recently returned to speak to our latest group of graduates, sharing his journey and inspiring others to follow in his footsteps.
