In January 2024, the Annie E. Casey Foundation (AECF) released its 10th annual Race for Results Report. In this report, you’ll learn how children across racial and ethnic groups are progressing on key milestones and which strategies will improve the odds for all children.
The report further documents how the lack of affordable and accessible childcare short-changes children and causes parents in Missouri to frequently miss work or even quit their jobs, while those who can find care are paying high costs for it.
ARCHS partners with AECF through its relationship with the Family and Community Trust (FACT).
FACT serves as the official AECF KIDS COUNT® partner in Missouri. FACT promotes and supports collaboration and innovation in service delivery for Missouri’s children and families through its network of 20 “community partnerships” around the state.
